Even though
I have given presentations to top management of some firms before
(and they were received well), this class taught me a lot about
first class presentations. The teacher was awesome.
Last week’s Successful Speaker Workshop was a significant event
for many of the participants. The opportunity to take a "close
up look n the mirror" and self-critique what we do frequently
was enlightening and educational. I truly believe we will all be
better speakers and more effective employees having completed this
workshop under your direction.
So many times, slick presenters tell us how to speak. They usually
tell what works for them, not necessarily the proven techniques
based on scholarly research. There are a lot of medicine men in
this field that pose as experts. You, however, are not one of them!
Certainly your delivery is always good. But the content and all
the parts of your speaking presentation were RIGHT-ON!

Having been exposed to
many teachers and teaching styles, we agree that the whole-hearted
acceptance of Mind Mapping by our groups was a direct result of your
exceptionally creative presentation, positive attitude, forthrightness,
and people-oriented personality. You are exactly the type of teacher
America’s educators and students are seeking today, someone who
motivates us to learn "how" to think rather than "what"
to think.
