(12 people maximum)

Managers surveyed by the National Association of Colleges and Employers rated "oral communication" as the most important skill for success in business. Coping with, managing, and overcoming public speaking nerves is critical to being an effective communicator and leader. This workshop will help you develop these critical communication skills:

Preparation: Target your presentation by researching your audience and topic effectively.

Structure: Use a specific format to get your audience to remember your points.

Delivery: Discover how stance, gestures and movement, and use of voice make sure that your great ideas are heard.

Visual Aids: Create visual aids that clearly illustrate your point. Interact with them so the audience is still focused on you, the speaker.

Rehearsal: Practice your presentation skills to powerfully communicate your ideas.

Impromptu Speaking: Speak cohesively when given minimal preparation time.
